GES interdicts Bole SHS teacher over alleged sexual misconduct with student

The Ghana Education Service has removed a Bole Senior High School teacher from active duty after a video allegedly involving the teacher and a student circulated on social media.
The Service says the interdiction will remain in force while investigations are conducted into the alleged misconduct.

According to the statement, the matter involves an allegation of sexual misconduct between a teacher and a student of Bole Senior High School in the Savannah Region.
GES said the decision to interdict the teacher was taken in accordance with its rules and regulations.
The Service explained that the move is intended to allow investigations to proceed without the teacher remaining in active service.
