Father remanded over alleged sexual abuse of four daughters
The accused, Emmanuel Ekumfi, is alleged to have committed the offences at Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
A 44-year-old man has been remanded into police custody by the Kasoa Ofaakor Court over allegations that he sexually abused his four daughters.
The accused, Emmanuel Ekumfi, is alleged to have committed the offences at Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
He is facing allegations involving defilement and sodomy.
The court has ordered him to reappear on September 15, 2026.
According to reports, the case was uncovered after the children’s mother, Antoinette Boakye, noticed unusual symptoms in her eldest daughter.
She reportedly questioned the girl, who allegedly disclosed that her father had sexually abused her.
The girl is also said to have claimed that three of her younger sisters had suffered similar abuse.
The matter was later reported to the Kasoa Millennium City Police.
Emmanuel Ekumfi was subsequently arrested and put before the Kasoa Ofaakor Court.
