Day 1 of JB Danquah Memorial Lecture: Access to Justice, leveraging of digital technologies in Ghana
The Speaker, Prof. Richard Frimpong Oppong, FGA, Professor of Law at the California Western School of Law will lead patrons to examine the access to justice deficit in Ghana while arguing for a broader conception of access to justice and exploring the leveraging of digital technologies to create new pathways to justice in Ghana.
This year’s J.B. Danquah Memorial lecture begins today, Monday, February 21, 2022, with a focus on the access to Justice deficit in Ghana.
The Speaker, Prof. Richard Frimpong Oppong, FGA, Professor of Law at the California Western School of Law will lead patrons to examine the access to justice deficit in Ghana while arguing for a broader conception of access to justice and exploring the leveraging of digital technologies to create new pathways to justice in Ghana.
Additionally, the first day’s lecture will seek to argue for restrictions on advertising of legal services to be removed and for substantial investment in justice technologies.
The 2022 JB Danquah Memorial Lecture by the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences will be held for three days, February 21-23, 2022 at exactly 5:30 pm each day at the Auditorium of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.
