Damongo: Two soldiers arrested for allegedly raping student nurse
The suspects, Trooper/Private Oduro Blessing and Trooper/Private Baba Anthony are both said to have attacked and raped the victim around midnight on June 12, 2022, at the premises of her hostel.

Police in the Savannah Region has arrested two soldiers undergoing training at the 155 Armored Regiment in Damongo of the Savannah Region, for allegedly raping a student nurse of the Damongo Nurses Training College.
The suspects, Trooper/Private Oduro Blessing and Trooper/Private Baba Anthony are both said to have attacked and raped the victim on June 12, 2022, around her hostel.
The two were arrested after an identification parade and are expected to be put before court today, June 14, 2022.
The Savannah Regional Police Command says the victim is receiving medical and psychosocial support while it continues to investigate the incident.
