Court of Appeal sittings in 4 Regional capitals suspended indefinitely
A statement signed by the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah emphasizes that ‘all pending appeals in the Court of Appeal listed above, are accordingly transferred to Kumasi and Accra."
Sittings of the Court of Appeal in Tamale, Ho, Koforidua, and Cape Coast have been suspended indefinitely.
As a result, all appeals from the Northern sector thus Upper West; Upper East; Northern; North East; Savannah; Bono; Bono East; Ahafo; Western North, and Ashanti Region will be heard and determined in Kumasi.
Further, all appeals from the Southern Sector of the country thus Western; Central; Eastern; Oti; Volta, and Greater Accra Region will be heard and determined in Accra.
