The Public Defenders' Division (PDD) of the Legal Aid Commission of Ghana, established under the Legal Aid Commission Act, 2018 (Act 977), is here to obviate your challenge.

The Commission’s Public Defenders programme is aimed at people who are poor, vulnerable, and wrongly accused of a crime, but who lack the means to hire legal representation.
